Dear S7 members: The website for abstract submission for the 2011 SSSA annual meeting in San Antonio, TX is now open.  Please go to: https://www.acsmeetings.org/poster-oral-papers Please note that graduate students have their own poster competition in our division, and I would like to strongly encourage graduate students to submit there and take advantage of that.  There will be prizes for best posters, and graduate students enjoy a little more recognition during this competition than otherwise.  More seasoned division members get a chance to learn more about graduate student work in forest range and wildland soils. Dates to keep in mind: Early submission deadline is April 12, 2011. FINAL submision deadline is April 26, 2011. You can edit your abstracts until July 21, 2011. As most of you know, these deadline are not negotiable! I am looking forward to seeing you in San Antonio!  It  promises to be quite the event, as SSSA is celebrating its 75th anniversary!
