M.S. assistantship in Forest Soils at WVU

The Forest Resources Management program at West Virginia University has an opening for an M.S. student to pursue research in forest nutrient cycling starting in January 2008.  The objective of the research project is to determine the effects of Hemlock Wooly Adelgid on soil and foliar nutrient dynamics in hemlock forests. An ideal candidate will have an interest in using modeling approaches, and laboratory and field trials.  Please contact Dr. Kate Piatek at Kathryn.Piatek@mail.wvu.edu for more information.
